Orrong Road Business Estate – Perth

Anvil Doors recently completed the supply and installation of nine large motorised steel roller shutters to Orrong Road Business Estate on behalf of the Subiaco Building Company Pty Ltd (head contractor).Orrong Road Business Estate is sited on an 8,000 sqm site boasting 80 car bays and 7 industrial tenancies. It is located in the heart of the Welshpool industrial precinct 8 kilometres to Perth’s CBD and 2 kilometres to both Perth’s International and Domestic terminals.

Anvil Doors were contracted by the Subiaco Building Company (SBS Pty LTD) to be the supplier of Steel Roller shutters for the Orrong Road Business Estate. Three of the supplied Steel Roller Shutters (featured) were for Bridgestone Select- Tyre & Auto Centre. The oversized steel roller shutters operation and reliability is a testament to Anvil Doors attention to detail in both manufacture and installation of the selected products.

Atlas Copco Building – Perth Airport

In September, Anvil Doors completed the installation of four roller shutters to the New Atlas Copco Building at Perth Airport. Works consisted of supplying and installing four oversized roller shutters to the existing warehouse that was under renovation.

The head contractor, Sanpro Construction were pleased with the operation and quality of the installed roller shutters. All roller shutters were motorised and sized up to seven metres high by ten metres wide. Given the large size of the roller shutters, specially designed storm bars were designed and engineered to ensure the durability of the roller shutters against the potential strong wind gusts around the Perth Airport region.

Centre Road Bentleigh – Melbourne

Centre Road Bentleigh is a mixed use development consisting of 31 residential apartments over four levels with one level basement and ground floor tenancy by Merbo Project Management.  The development has a curtain wall glazing system and curved elevation to Centre Road. 

Group company Airport Doors supplied and installed a custom-made Fully Internal Door for Trio Construct.

Werribee Secondary College

Werribee Secondary College Stage 3 rebuild will result in state of the art facilities for English, Science, Mathematics, Humanities and Commerce.

Group company Airport Doors supplied and installed a four custom-made Bifold Doors on the first half of the Stage 3 project for E J Lyons & Sons.

The four Bifold doors offer the school superior function and flexibility of space in the new building.

Doors Open at Lakelands Shopping Centre – Western Australia

The new $50 million Lakelands Shopping Centre opened its doors to hundreds of waiting shoppers and is now the largest shopping centre between Mandurah and Rockingham south of Perth.
The 20,000sqm centre is anchored by Coles, K-Mart and ALDI and boasts more than 40 specialty stores.

In addition to the big brand names, the new Lakelands Shopping Centre also offers a great mix of retailers including a newsagency, nail bar, pharmacy, local fruit and vegetable shop, patisserie, surf shop, clothing shops, gift shops and more.

As Mirage Doors are a specified supplier to Coles and Kmart nationally, our Perth Branch was approached to supply and install our Series 3 Aluminium roller shutters to a range of shops in this centre as well as our SD range of side closures.

 

 

Qube Logistics – Altona Melbourne

Qube is Australia’s largest integrated provider of import and export logistics services that operates in over 125 locations across Australia, New Zealand and South East Asia with a workforce of over 6,000 employees.

Qube Logistics operates services covering road and rail transport, warehousing and distribution, container parks and related services, and intermodal logistics hubs including rail terminals and international freight forwarding.

Group Company Ansa Doors has worked with tier 1 construction company Texco Construction to supply and install 27 steel roller shutter doors for the QUBE LOGISTICS Altona warehouse.

Ansa Doors has been working together with Texco Construction for a number of years to deliver successful projects for many new businesses in Melbourne’s industrial and commercial suburbs.

IBM Tower Southbank – Melbourne

Mirage Doors was contracted by Brookfield Global on the upgrade of the IBM Tower Southbank multi-purpose office space, to provide a glazed moveable wall to separate the area’s when needed.

Mirage designed and installed a 6 meter wide x 2.7 meter glazed counter weighted bifold door, with side and bottom seals, that could divide or open the area at the push of a button. The large glass area kept the open feel to the office space while providing sound deadening between the spaces when closed.

Karrinyup Shopping Centre WA – David Jones

KARRINYUP Shopping Centre is set for a radical upgrade which will double its size and include residential apartments.
AMP Capital lodged an application with the City of Stirling to develop the northern suburbs’ centre from a 57,000sq.m site to a 113,000sq.m site.
It will include an exterior makeover, new shops and 150 new residential apartments nearby, connected by boardwalks.

As part of the initial works on the existing site, the David Jones department store upgraded its store front roller shutters.

Group company Anvil Doors supplied and installed three motorised Fire Resistant Roller Shutters with a nominated Fire Resistance Level (FRL) of 180min.
