Group company Mirage Doors has recently completed the newly opened L’OCCITANE En Provence Store in Sydney.
Mirage Doors high quality Bi-Folding “Fiesta” Door was used on the newly designed store front.
NRG have been a long time client of Mirage Doors and have completed a number of Sketchers and Platypus Stores Nationally. For the Store at Highpoint it was required to meet airflow requirements and tight constraints to the lease line of the shop.
A Multivent SD 200 Folding Closure was proposed and provided an aesthetically pleasing result.
Parklea Correctional Centre, located in western Sydney, is a 900 bed maximum security prison that is being expanded to hold an extra 150 inmates.
The project is part of the NSW Government’s $3.8 billion plan to add 7,000 new beds to the correctional system in NSW.
Working with construction company Hansen Yuncken, group company Lietzke Security has been on the project for the past (18) months manufacturing and installing the high security windows and doors on the project.
Mirage Doors as engaged by CIP Constructions (QLD) have provided Roller Shutter solutions for the Mitre 10 Distribution Centre located in Berrinba, Logan. The 30,000m2 Warehouse and Dangerous Goods Store Facility has been fitted out with 18 Mirage Series S100 Roller Shutters.
These Roller Shutters have been installed for applications in General Warehousing and Loading Dock requirements. The shutters are powder coated on both sides in Dulux- Monument.
As work continues on the $490 million dollar redevelopment of The Glen Shopping Centre Mirage Doors continue to update shopfronts and provide new doors for new stores entering the shopping centre with a range of products to suit individual needs. These products include solid SD folding closures for increased security at Artisan Home, Glass infill SD folding closures for higher class finish for Endota Spa, Custom Fiesta Door stacking system for Beauty and Brow, Powder coated and Anodised finish SD closures, and Series 3 roller shutters.
Austral Monsoon installed two AB100 Bi-fold counterweight doors fully glazed with grade A safety glass at the newly opened Liverpool Mazda, 30km south-west of Sydney. Austral Monsoon worked closely with Farindon Constructions and their architect to provide an eye-catching entrance to Mazda’s new $12 million showroom.
The project also included a 6m wide 2-hour fire rated roller shutter and 3 hand operated steel roller shutters.
For anyone travelling on the Tullamarine Freeway from the airport to Melbourne city they would recognise the iconic Zagame Autobody building adjacent to the freeway.

Group company Airport Doors supplied and installed two large vertical lift doors for Metro Fire Builders as part of the continued development of the autobody business. The choice of using Airport Doors for these doors was subsequent to the installation of a specialised Bifold door in 2017 that was designed to match the external slope of the glass façade. Airport Doors was chosen due to having a reputation for delivering products that meet high architectural standards.
Anvil Doors have recently completed the manufacture and installation of fourteen roller shutters to Fisher & Paykels new distribution centre located in Hazelmere, Perth. The fourteen new roller shutters form part of the newly constructed, state of the art distribution centre that comprises of 9,900 sqm of warehouse space and approximately 420sqm of office space.
All fourteen roller shutters were motorised with perforated slats to allow natural light and airflow to the warehouse floor. Six of the fourteen roller shutters were located in the loading dock zone of the new facility. The shutter motors, manufactured by Grifco, were easily integrated with hydraulic dock levellers control systems.
Georgiou Group (the head contractor) were pleased with the quality of the product and the speed in which Anvil Doors manufactured and installed all fourteen roller shutters. Anvil Doors completed the manufacture and installation of all 14 roller shutters within 5 weeks from contract award. Another quality project successfully completed by the Anvil Doors team.
In February Anvil Doors Supplied (3) fire shutters to Sunrise Dam for their underground mining project.
Sunrise Dam, wholly-owned by AngloGold Ashanti, and is situated 220km north-east of Kalgoorlie and 55km south of Laverton in Western Australia.
The three fire shutters were delivered, supplied and installed on time and to the client’s expectations.
Anvil Doors fire shutters and roller shutters are supplied and installed in a number of remote mining locations throughout Western Australia and as far afield as Rio Tintos Mongolia Copper/Coal mines.
