In these busy days with the pressures of work and modem day life, it’s sometimes a good thing to reflect on some of the other things that are around. That’s why at IDE we take time out to support local events and charities.
One such example is Hebden Green School which is based not far from our Head Office in Cheshire. Hebden Green School provides education for pupils with physical difficulties. Many pupils have additional needs including moderate, severe or complex learning difficulties.
Hebden Green School is an outstanding school and the pupils make great progress in their personal development mainly due to the total commitment of the excellent staff. But schools like Hebden Green also rely on finance and that’s why Industrial Door Engineering helped organise and support a recent Charity Golf Day. The photo shows IDE Director Martin Burke presenting a cheque for £600 to Casey, one of the pupils at Hebden Green along with Peter Gaskell (School Governor) and Toni Findley (School Head). Casey recently underwent a lung transplant and is now recovering really well and IDE wishes her and all the pupils, teachers and carers at the school continued success and all the best for the future.
