On Tuesday 4th March 2014 AM Group company Industrial Door Engineering Ltd (IDE) acquired Nassau Industrial Doors Limited (Nassau) based at Stoke-on-Trent, England. The deal sees Martin Burke (Managing Director of IDE) and Owen Wiseman (Managing Director of AM Group Pty Ltd) join Terry Salmon (Managing Director of Nassau) as Directors of the company moving forwards.
Nassau has been a successful player in the commercial and industrial door market within the United Kingdom for over 24 years. Nassau has a strong reputation for the supply and installation of industrial sectional overhead doors, roller shutters, fire rated roller shutters, high speed doors, hinged metal doors and other industrial door products. Nassau also provides a dedicated repair and maintenance service to a broad client base across the whole of the UK. Nassau will retain its name reflecting its strong brand recognition and market presence.

The construction and fitting out of a new administration office building is now complete at Ansa Doors in the Melbourne suburb of Coolaroo, Victoria, Australia. This now completes the AM Group’s seven year development program of the Coolaroo site including the extension of factory building 1 and construction of factory building 2. The new office building is located between the two factory buildings. The site has a total of 6,000 sq m under roof. Ansa Doors manufactures a wide range of industrial door products including roller shutters, bi-fold doors, high speed doors and truck body / trailer doors.
The AMgroup has been awarded the Cobham Juvenile Justice Project from Richard Crookes Constructions. Contract scope of works included supply and installation of secure doors and windows for the facility in western Sydney, NSW, Australia.
The project is expected to be completed in 2012.
Austral Monsoon has tendered and successfully negotiated the supply and installation of (24) steel and aluminium roller shutters to the new Bega Market Place shopping complex.
The complex will comprise of a new Woolworths Supermarket as well as the regions first Big W and Dick Smith stores.
Austral Monsoon recently completed the new Dick Smith and Big W warehouse and distribution centre development at Hoxton Park, in Sydney’s Greater West.
The Dick Smith facility consisted of (39) Austral Monsoon steel roller shutters throughout the 51,700 square metre complex and Big W consisted of (92) steel roller shutters throughout the 89,000 square metre facility.
Both warehousing facilities ran independent of each with separate contract terms and project managers.
The project was on a very tight delivery program which was delivered on time by Austral Monsoon’s manufacturing and project management staff.
