Group company Industrial Door Engineering is pleased to announce its latest program of works with customer Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service as the planned fire station upgrades continue. As part of this programme IDE have supplied a series of new sectional overhead doors to fire stations at Northwich and Macclesfield.
This follows the successful installation of new sectional overhead doors for the new fire stations built at Penketh, Lymm and M56 Povey Lane earlier this year.
In the heart of mid-Cheshire, Northwich Fire Station have just had installed and commissioned 6no. new sectional overhead doors measuring 4000mm x 4000mm complete with 2no. vision rows and poppy red external finish. Electrical operation with safety devices specified to the front for the fire engines to leave & hand chain operation for the rear entrance doors.
Continuing with this rolling programme of work over at East Cheshire, Macclesfield Fire Station have been fitted with 3no. rear doors. These new sectional doors were hand chain operated for the entrance of the fire engines, measuring nearly 4000mm x 4000mm, complete with vision rows and a poppy red external finish to keep the look uniform across all stations.
The job was achieved on time and within budget, show-casing another great project by Industrial Door Engineering Ltd.
