Group company Mirage Doors have recently completed the supply and installation of a Fiesta door at the Oroton shop in Sydney’s T3 Domestic Terminal.
Oroton wanted a product that is easy to use and that would showcase their latest airport store. The Mirage Fiesta Stacking Door fitted those requirements and was selected.
The door stacks off to a stacking portal on one side via our Parallel tracking system. This type of tracking system allows for the doors to be moved in a parallel state and then simply stack back at 45 deg in the cupboard.
Each panel is unique and consists of 6.38mm laminated glass encased in an aluminium powdercoated frame. The product can be tailor made to suite any size opening or application.
Group company Mirage Doors has recently completed the supply and installation of a Fiesta stacking door for the new Sephora shop in Macquarie Centre, North Ryde.
As an upmarket retail brand, Sephora wanted a high end shopfront to reflect their image.
The Fiesta spans an impressive 11 metres wide and 3 metres high. During trade, the door stacks off to a side closure via a 90 degree chicane track system. When in the closed position, store access is made possible by a single egress door.
Each panel consists of 6.38mm laminated glass encased in an aluminium frame, powder coated in a Satin Black.
The Fiesta door is made to order and can be customised to suit individual customer needs and any shop front size.
Group company Austral Monsoon has recently completed the supply and installation of twelve Austral Monsoon H20 Hold Open Fire Rated Roller Shutters at St Patrick’s College in Strathfield.
The shutters were required to be fixed over the windows in order to achieve the building’s fire rating.
The guides, curtains and hoods were all finished in a Dulux “Ironstone” powder coat to match the Colourbond on site.

Group company Austral Monsoon have recently completed an installation comprising of twenty-six roller shutters working in conjunction with Watpac Speciality Services at Oakburn Protein Plant in Tamworth.
The site itself consists of 3 buildings – Main Building (twenty 100 x 1.0 chain operated and electrically operated steel roller shutters), Boiler House (four E85 Panorama electrically operated aluminium roller shutters) and Storage Building (two 100 x 1mm electrically operated roller steel shutters).
Most of the roller shutters within the Main Building were designed specifically to meet the criteria of minimal airflow requirements through the curtain when the roller shutters are closed.
Group company Ansa Doors has recently completed the supply and installation of a one off car park roller shutter at the new boutique hotel and serviced apartment development at Hawthorn East. The premises will be completed by October 2015 and will include base building works comprising of fully undercover car parking.
The project initially presented some challenges. The design brief called for an over-sized roller shutter to be installed in the narrow driveway lane alongside the building. Ansa Doors designed and constructed the door, then together with its experienced installation crew carefully maneuvered the door into position and successfully completed the installation without a hitch. The door measured 12.9 m wide by 3.0 m high.
Group company; Dover Vanguard Roller Shutters of Oldham, United Kingdom came face to face with a blast from the past at the recent Emergency Service Show in the form of a Carmichaels Vehicle from 1990 that is still in use by the end user CleeveLink.
The vehicle still had the original, 1990 manufactured Dover N30 Roller Shutter (as pictured) fitted to it. Speaking with a representative from CleeveLink they were proud to say that since they had taken the vehicle they had “never had one problem with the shutter, it worked perfectly everytime!” It is a great testament to the quality of the shutter range that a 25 year old roller shutter is still going as strong as they day we made it.
Also at the show was the launch of an upgrade to the N35 Aluminium Vehicle Roller Shutter in the form of profiled guides that can be custom made to the shape of the vehicle. Displayed on the Mercades-Benz main stand, the vehicle was built by PickUp Systems and featured both the new profiled N35s and the original versions, making a total of five shutters from Dover Vanguard on the vehicle.
The past really did meet the present, under one roof, at the largest emergency services show in the United Kingdom, helping to demonstrate the Dover Vanguard Quality to the marketplace.
Group company, Dover Vanguard Roller Shutters of Oldham, United Kingdom were proud to demonstrate their N35 Roller Shutter at Post Expo 2015 in conjunction with Southco.
The N35 Roller Shutters were fitted with both Standard electronic locking and RFID by Southco for their stand. The show that features innovations in the postal industry and is one of the largest in France.
Over the 3 days of the exhibition Southco were pleased to report that the N35 Roller Shutters had attracted a lot of interests from visitor to the stand in the security products.
Group company, Industrial Door Engineering Ltd of Cheshire, United Kingdom have just completed the manufacture and installation of another specialist door project in Liverpool.
The project required a one off electric operated roller shutter measuring 4.8m wide by 11mm high, finished in marine powder coated RAL9002 due to the location of the site in Gladstone docks and the addition of a fast acting Nergeco Star 2 Trekking finished in RAL9002.
The contract was won and managed by Senior Sales Executive Antony Faloona. Working on these large door specialist projects is just one of the many bespoke services that Industrial Door Engineering provides to its customers.
After the completion early this year of work for EM Highways by group company, NASSAU Industrial Doors of Stoke-on-Trent, United Kingdom on a number of their sites across the West Midlands they contacted NASSAU Company Sales Manager, Kevin Bourne to discuss another one of their sites at Stensham.
The site at Strensham had not been included in the original project as it had been deemed to have doors of a high enough standard and to not need a replacement. However after seeing the work that had been carried out and comparing it to the quality of the existing non NASSAU door they quickly changed their minds.
Work began on the supply and installation of five NASSAU 9000F overhead sectional doors including two 10,000mm wide doors and all the secondary steelwork and was completed on time and on budget, proving once again with NASSAU you know the quality.
Group company, NASSAU Industrial Doors of Stoke-on-Trent, United Kingdom have just completed the supply and installation of one NASSAU 9000F overhead sectional door and six Security Rated Hinged Doors for the Lighting Industry Association in Telford.
The contract was won by NASSAU Company Sales Manager, Kevin Bourne and saw the rekindling of a fantastic business relationship between NASSAU, Pochin PLC and Hulme Upright architects of Manchester.
