AM Group company – Nassau Industrial Doors recently purchased (3) new 24 hours mobile service vehicles to it’s existing fleet of service vehicles.
This allows Nassua to provided increased coverage and emergency response time to 24 hour emergency service operations which complements to manufacturing business.
Due to be completed in the middle of 2014, the new 236-bed Loddon Prison Facility is the first stage of the overall $76 million upgrade and expansion underway at Loddon.
The new facility will represent a new type of security classification – restricted minimum – sitting outside the existing prison walls, but with its own secure perimeter.
Loddon Prison currently accommodates medium-security male prisoners serving mainly medium and long-term sentences for a range of offences. It also accommodates some prisoners with disability or other complex needs.
Working with Kane Constructions, Ansa Doors has successfully tendered for the supply and installation of a range of door products that include both commercial and industrial roller shutters.
Loddon opened in August 1990 as a replacement for the old Castlemaine Gaol, which originally opened in 1861 to service the goldfields and surrounding towns.
At a cost of $212 million, the Victorian Government is introducing 940 Victoria Police Protective Services Officers (PSOs) progressively to every train station in metropolitan Melbourne and major regional train stations to improve safety for customers.
The program will improve safety on the public transport network. Victoria Police will recruit and train the 940 Protective Services Officers by November 2014.
As part of this program, Ansa Doors has been involved in supplying roller shutters for the upgraded train station facilities to service the officers’ requirements. In the last 12 months Ansa Doors has supplied over 200 Ansa series E82 Aluminium Roller Shutters for more than 75 upgraded stations. This list will continue to grow as PSOs begin patrolling at every metropolitan station in Victoria.
On Tuesday 4th March 2014 AM Group company Industrial Door Engineering Ltd (IDE) acquired Nassau Industrial Doors Limited (Nassau) based at Stoke-on-Trent, England. The deal sees Martin Burke (Managing Director of IDE) and Owen Wiseman (Managing Director of AM Group Pty Ltd) join Terry Salmon (Managing Director of Nassau) as Directors of the company moving forwards.
Nassau has been a successful player in the commercial and industrial door market within the United Kingdom for over 24 years. Nassau has a strong reputation for the supply and installation of industrial sectional overhead doors, roller shutters, fire rated roller shutters, high speed doors, hinged metal doors and other industrial door products. Nassau also provides a dedicated repair and maintenance service to a broad client base across the whole of the UK. Nassau will retain its name reflecting its strong brand recognition and market presence.

Austral Monsoon Building Products have worked with Manteena Pty Ltd on the the installation of AME 60S sun shades to the new multipurpose hall at Edmond Rice College, Wollongong NSW.
The AME 60S sunshade system is manufactured from extruded aluminium and in this case, was installed on purpose made outrigger brackets. The project was finished in a Duratec X15 powder coat system.
The AME 60S is a versatile sun shading system that can be applied in either the vertical or horizontal configuration. The AME 60S blade pitch and support structure can be manufactured for various architecturally specified applications.
Austral Monsoon Building Products have recently worked with Multi Span Constructions Pty Ltd on the installation of Koolbreeze Fixed Ventilation Louvres to the Reedy Creek Recycle Facility.
Koolbreeze Louvres feature fully closed blades with perforations in the bottom blade only. They are ideal for applications where ventilation is required without sacrificing security.
The louvres for this particular project were manufactured from aluminium sheet and finished in a powder coat to match the building exterior. However, Koolbreeze Fixed Ventilation louvers can be manufactured from a selection of common sheet materials including polycarbonate, zincalume and Colourbond.
Antony Faloona, Senior Sales Executive at Group Company Industrial Door Engineering Ltd, has just overseen the latest Roller Shutter installation at Airbus UK Ltd, on behalf of Hollingsworth Ellery as part of Project Long Range Wing Exit.
The order required the manufacturing of 2no. IDE 4(E) 2 hour rated Fire Roller Shutters at 9000mm by 5000mm, 2no. IDE 3(E) Electrical Roller Shutters at 6000mm by 5000mm, 1no. IDE 7 Insulated Roller Shutter at 9000mm by 5000mm and 5no IDE 21 Steel Hinged Fire Rated Doors. The doors needed to be powder coated to match the Airbus Company Brand colour before installation on site by our mobile engineering teams.
This latest order continues to build the ongoing relationship that IDE has with Airbus and Hollingsworth Ellery as the main supplier of Roller Shutter and Industrial Door solutions.
Dover Roller Shutters engineer, Bryan Courtney, attended the ConExpo-Con/Agg Trade Show in Las Vegas, Nevada this past week. ConExpo-Con/Agg had over 2400 exhibitors showcasing new products and technologies from every major construction industry. There were over 125,000 attendees including contractors, dealers, distributors, engineers, municipalities, and more.
Companies displaying trucks with our doors consisted of Maintainer Corporation (3), Summit Truck Body (1), IMT (4), Sage Oil Vac (2), and Ram Vac. (1). Dover Roller Shutters dominated the roll up doors displayed with only one of our competitor’s doors present at the show. Despite this, there remains a vast amount of opportunity to apply Dover products to other vehicles and applications. As companies see the benefits and ease of installation of roll up doors, we expect to see many more displayed in the future.
AM Group company – Austral Monsoon recently completed the supply and installation of over (60) Austral Monsoon Steel Roller Shutters to the new New Storage and Heavy Vehicle facility at Enoggera Army Barracks Queensland.
Working with ABI Group Constructions Austral Monsoon manufactured and install the the roller shutters to the strict specification and time frame set by the Australian Defence Force.
