From winning major new contracts to an overflowing order book, December saw the best month ever for AM Group Company – Industrial Door Engineering as it said goodbye to 2013 and welcomed in 2014. Martin Burke, Managing Director of IDE said “December saw us beat all records, in every aspect, from the number of doors produced to the number of major contracts won all over the United Kingdom.”

Not only has the factory seen a major rise in production but the digital side of the business recorded an 11.55% increase in web traffic over December 2013 compared to 2012. This has helped to generate a record number of inquiries for new business and resulted in an ever increasing order book.

Major contracts have included work for Conlon Construction Ltd, on behalf of RRG Toyota in Bradford, UK. The contract, which was secured by Chris Finn, Senior Sales Executive at IDE, saw an order for 7 no. Aluminium Powder Coated  Panorama Doors, 1 no. Condoor Sectional Door, 1 no. Novoferm Rapid Roll Door, 1 no. IDE (3) TM Electric Roller Shutter and 3 no. IDE (3)P Push Up Roller Shutters. Manufacture and Fitting has already begun on this order and it is expected to be finished in January 2014.

Another major contract that was secured by Antony Faloona, Senior Sales Executive, is work for Street Crane in Chapel-en-le-Frith, UK.  This contract will see the manufacture and fitting of 4 no. Plastisol and Galvanised Fast Acting Insulated Roller Shutters I.D.E.7 as well as 5 no. Steel Hinged Personnel Doors IDE 20, of which two are to be 1 hour Fire Rated. Work is scheduled to be started in late January 2014.

The second phase of work on FCC Environment has now started and continues to be overseen by Senior Sales Executive Ray Bassett on behalf of Jones Bros in Wrexham, North Wales. Work on phase two is expected to be completed by the end of January 2014 with a further phase planned for the early part of 2014. This work consists of 13 IDE 3(EA) Roller Shutters and 20 Steel Hinged doors.
