Group Company – Industrial Door Engineering (IDE) have recently had their range of insulated and non-insulated roller shutter doors tested for wind-loading in preparation for the new CE Marking Regulations that come into force in the UK in July 2013.

All products tested reached the Level 3 required standard and both the non-insulated 20swg lath used in conjunction with 100mm deep windlock guide and the insulated 22swg lath used in conjunction with 90mm deep guide passed to Level 5, the highest level achievable.

IDE are now in a position to satisfy all the requirements of the CE Marking Regulations which include windloading, safe-opening, operating forces and mechanical resistance and stability.
