Dover Vanguard are about to complete an order for 48 stainless steel roller shutters for John Adams Limited in Scotland.
The shutters are located on containers housing high pressure jetting systems and were required to be stainless steel due to the corrosive atmosphere and environment.
The containers are used off-shore and are subject to harsh salt-water conditions.
The order was spread over 3 months and the final consignment will be despatched to the customer on time, in the first week of March.
Group Company – Industrial Door Engineering has been awarded a new service contract for the Airbus, Broughton site by Inviron, the site facility managers.
This contract is an extension of the existing contract IDE have had at the Airbus site for the last 9 years and now covers the six monthly service of 188 doors of various types and sizes for the period up until April 2014.
IDE’s excellent working relationship with both Airbus and Inviron was the key deciding factor in the awarding of the contract to IDE.

However, the track record that IDE have at Airbus, together with the high standards and qualifications that both IDE and its service engineers hold, were undoubtedly some of the main factors in Airbus and Inviron choosing IDE’.
Industrial Door Engineering have won an order for high specification insulated roller shutter doors and various steel hinged doors on the new Waste Facility Development at Airbus, Chester.
The contract is with MPH Construction who are already well advanced with the development and will require the doors from IDE within the next two months. The insulated roller shutters will work off a hi-tech radar and inductive loop system similar to that already installed within the main Airbus site by IDE.
IDE were specified for the door contract by Airbus due to the long standing arrangement and continued working relationship that IDE and Airbus have between one another.
Diamond Roll Up Door, Inc. would like to welcome and introduce our new Engineer, Bryan Courtney. Bryan joined the Diamond team on January 7, 2013 and brings to the company, and group, 3D design and drawing capabilities. He will be establishing and building 3D product archives for both Diamond Roll Up Door, Inc. and Dover Roller Shutters USA as well as any components shared with our parent company, AMGroup. He will assist in the design and implementation of new products Diamond and Dover will be taking to the market in the future. His technical and mechanical background will also be valuable in assisting new and existing customers in their new product design and integration of our roll up door products.
Bryan has experience from Corporate Product Engineering to Operations/Construction Management. He has product design experience with the latest versions of 2D CAD, CATIA, and 3D Solid Works.

Industrial Door Engineering has completed the new door contract at a prestige Ford Dealership in Runcorn, Cheshire.
The contract was performed for Sivil Design and Build and comprised fast acting insulated roller shutters, standard insulated roller shutters, steel hinged doors and internal fire shutters.
The dealership, Polar Ford, had previous experience of headroom problems with the more common sectional overhead doors and because of this, they specified the IDE range of insulated roller shutters.
A number of other dealerships are planned and IDE are hopeful that this project will be the first of many.
Group company – Austral Monsoon Building Products has recently completed the installation of AME 100 HV, 2 stage louvers to the Haden Manufacturing facility in Brisbane. The louvers incorporated a glazed mid section to provide natural light into the building.
The client selected the AME100HV 2 stage louvers to provide a high degree of weather resistance and at the same time provide a high degree of air infiltration into the building, the AME100 HV 2 stage louver was designed to provide 50% free area.
Group company – Austral Monsoon Building Products (AMBP) has recently completed the manufacture and installation of purpose made screens to the ABC Radio station in Mackay North QLD
The screens are manufactured from steel rhs frame with reinforcement mesh all finished in hot dipped galvanising for durability.
The screens are designed to provide a high degree of security to the radios satellites on the satellite deck.
In addition to AMBPs standard range of ventilation products we can design and manufacture purpose build screens to suite any application.
Group company – IDE have completed the first phase of roller shutters and fire roller shutters on the new Saracens Premiership Rugby Ground in North London.
The ground, named Allianz Park will also have a running track as well as an all-weather pitch.
IDE will also be installing a further Aluminium roller shutters to the hospitality bars within the Main Stand. The shutters were selected by the Architects for their premium quality and finish, particularly as the hospitality bars will be the prestige areas for visiting Rugby Club directors from all over Europe.
Group company – Lietzke Doors, has been chosen to supply High Security Doors and Windows for the Mount Gambier Prison New Cell Block and Kitchen project.
The new cell block is to employ a “modular construction” method, the first prison of its kind in South Australia, where the new wings containing accommodation and ablutions are to be constructed from shipping containers. The expansion, of which Badge is the Managing Contractor, will allow the prison to house an additional 112 prisoners and includes a new 400m² kitchen.
