The Airbus site in Chester has just seen a further upgrade of 2 of its insulated folding shutter doors to ‘The 1 Door’.
The attributes of ‘The 1 Door’ – Speed, Insulation, Security and Energy Saving all combine to make the product an attractive proposition in a wide range of applications.
The AM Group is delighted to announce that it has entered into a Technology and Know-How Licence with Pommier of France.
Pommier is a major manufacturer and supplier of truck parts to truck body builders in Europe. The Licence Agreement provides Pommier’s Brazilian subsidiary with the rights to manufacture, market and distribute 2EA and 2EB truck roller shutters products exclusively in the Brazilian market.
Pommier Do Brazil has been provided with the necessary intellectual property and staff visited Diamond Roll-Up Door in Ohio, USA in August 2012 for product training and to observe production processes. Pommier Do Brazil is currently setting up its manufacturing facilities and production will commence in 2012.
The AM Group sees this as a great opportunity for both businesses to benefit from a growing economic region. We look forward to working closely with Pommier on this project and potentially into the future with other products and in other geographical markets.
Group company Austral Monsoon Building Products has recently completed the installation of “COOLITE” operable louvers for the Queensland Ambulance Service, North Lakes.
Group company – Austral Monsoon has recently completed the supply and installation of a large number of aluminium and fire rated roller shutters to the RNS Hospital in Sydney.
The new (9) level wing of the Hospital was completed with construction company Thiess.
Group company IDE recently completed the installation of (37) roller shutters on the re-developed Anglesey Race Track in North Wales.
The contract was carried out for Peter T. Griffiths Building Contractors and was completed on time over a six week period.
