Group company – Dover Roller Shutters has been working closely with Taylor Pump and Lifts for several months in the development of a prototype vehicle for The North Carolina Highway Department.
As a result of this development process Dover Roller Shutters togther with Taylor Pump and Lifts delivered the first vehicle using the “Dover” aluminium roller roll up door.
The roll up doors provide easier access to the compartments, but more importantly, provide a safer environment to the crews that use the vehicles. By not swinging the doors out into traffic or confined spaces, the work crew can stay closer to the vehicle and out of the way of passing traffic.
Due to the succcess of the first vehicle The State of North Carolina has decided to purchase numerous vehicles for their fleet which maintains all the state maintained highway and roads.
Group Company – Austral Monsoon has recently completed the Fixed Ventilation Louvres and Steel Roller Shutters on the new Masters Home Improvement store in North Lakes QLD
The project comprised the installation of specially modified Austral Monsoon “AMF120” Folded Steel Louvres and Austral Monsoon “H13” Steel Roller Shutters.
Group company – Austral Monsoon Building Products recently completed the contract to supply and install both fixed & operable louvers for Victoria University.
Victoria University is an interesting project with a mixture of Louver products to provide a natural ventilation solution for the innovative building.
On the roof of the building there are six towers each with a combination of Koolbreeze louvers manufactured from opal polycarbonate and aluminium powdercoated. Both variations offer superior natural ventilation whilst the Polycarbonate version has the added advantage of allowing natural light in.
Group company – Dover Vanguard Roller Shutters has recently secured an order for (40) powder-coated electric roller shutters for KLM Engineering on behalf of TESCO, the leading UK supermarket.
The shutters are fitted onto mobile pods which are then transported to each store. Once sited at the stores, the pods act as a ‘click & collect’ facility. Customers order their groceries online and then call at the pod and collect their groceries which have been prepared for them.
The facility is being trailed at 40 stores, but if successful, could become a facility at a large number of TESCO’s stores throughout the UK.
Group company – Industrial Door Engineering has won the next phase of work on the award winning AMEX Stadium in Brighton,UK.
The work programme includes (7) electric steel roller shutters and (17) electric 2 hour fire rated steel roller shutters. Works will be completed by the start of the new soccer season in mid-August 2012.
Group company – Lietzke Doors successfully completes the supply of door frames for “Single LEAP Phase 2” project at Edinburgh in South Australia.
The “Single Leap Phase 2” project is an Australian Federal Government initiative to upgrade the living accommodation for Australian Defence Force personnel with new accommodation which meets contemporary community standards. The total project provides for (3,015) units of single member’s accommodation at (14) bases across mainland Australia.
Lietzke Doors worked closely with the builder co-ordinating up to (3) deliveries a day to the site to supply (964) steel door frames for the (430) member accommodation unit at the Edinburgh site.
Group company – Austral Monsoon has successful tendered and negotiated the supply and installation of the both alumunium and steel rollers shutters for the new Tuggernong Hyperdome Shopping Centre.
Working with Leda Design and Construction – Austral Monsoon will commence production almost immediately to meet the tight program set by Big W.
